What it costs

from S$90 per visit for the nurse's time. Consumables are billed separately at cost — no markup. After-hours and urgent same-day visits add 40% to the nursing fee (evenings, weekends, public holidays); offshore-zone visits are quoted before you book. What happens during the visit

• The nurse confirms which tests the doctor has ordered.
• Blood is drawn safely and the site checked for bleeding.
• Samples are labelled and sent to an accredited laboratory.
• Results are returned to the requesting doctor.
• A written visit summary is left for the patient's own doctor.

Who needs this

People who find it hard to travel for a blood test — the frail, bedridden, or recently discharged — and anyone whose doctor has requested blood work that can be done at home.

How often: As often as the doctor requests — a one-off test, or regular monitoring for conditions like diabetes or kidney disease, or while on certain medications.

When to call a doctor

• Ongoing bleeding, a large bruise, or swelling at the puncture site
• Feeling faint or unwell after the draw that doesn't settle
• Redness, warmth, or pain at the site over the next few days
